Minimum Requirements
To qualify, you must have:
- A National Diploma in Building OR
- An N3 qualification with a passed Trade Test in any building trade OR
- A National Diploma in Engineering (Building or Civil).
- At least 1 year of relevant experience after obtaining your qualification.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Computer literacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect work done on minor new and existing structures.
- Develop progress reports on outstanding and completed work.
- Analyze and prepare documentation for minor construction projects.
- Work closely with stakeholders on technical aspects of projects.
- Monitor contractors’ work and ensure compliance.
- Prepare payment documents and oversee contract administration.
- Submit reports on project-related challenges.
- Collect and submit data for the Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP).
