  • Salary: R216,417 – R254,928 per annum (Level 05)

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Education: Matric/Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification.
  • Experience: Exposure to administrative or corporate services environments is an advantage.
  • Skills:
    • Strong customer service orientation.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with honesty and integrity.
    • Basic computer literacy and numeracy skills.
    • Good written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Preference: Candidates residing in the local area where the position is based will be prioritized.

Key Responsibilities

As a School Administration Clerk, you will:

General Administrative Support

  • Record, organize, store, capture, and retrieve correspondence and data.
  • Update registers and statistics as required.
  • Handle routine enquiries from stakeholders.
  • Photocopy documents and manage facsimile transmissions.
  • Distribute documents and packages to stakeholders.
  • Maintain and organize filing systems.
  • Type correspondence and maintain document registers.

Supply Chain and Asset Management

  • Support procurement processes by obtaining quotations and completing forms for office items.
  • Monitor office stationery stock and maintain the asset register for district offices.

Personnel Administration

  • Maintain leave records and attendance registers.
  • Organize travel and accommodation arrangements.
  • Keep personnel records organized and up-to-date.

Financial Administration

  • Capture and update expenditure records.
  • Verify and submit subsistence and travel claims for approval.
  • Manage telephone accounts and petty cash.

Data Management

  • Capture learner and educator data on SASSAMS.
  • Provide general administrative duties to ensure smooth school operations.
