Job Overview:

• Position Title: Gardener (X3 Posts)
• Location: Pretoria

As a Gardener at NECSA, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and maintenance of the gardens on site. You will perform various gardening and landscaping tasks in line with NECSA and SHEQ requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Landscape Maintenance: Install seasonal flower designs and landscapes.
• Gardening Tasks: Maintain and clean common areas, including dustbins and garden spaces.
• Plant Health: Monitor plant health, mow, trim, and fertilize green spaces.
• General Garden Care: Mulch, edge, weed, prune, and trim trees and bushes.
• Equipment Maintenance: Maintain all gardening equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers.
• Pest Control: Address pest problems that could harm plants.
• Adhoc Tasks: Perform basic maintenance tasks as needed.
• Debris Removal: Keep gardens and open spaces free of litter and debris.
• Safety Compliance: Follow safety guidelines for applying chemicals and using gardening tools.

Job Requirements:

• Educational Requirement: Grade 10 or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in gardening; landscaping experience is an added advantage.
• Physical Fitness: Must be fit to work at heights (e.g., rooftops, towers).
• Skills: Ability to use hand tools and industrial gardening equipment.
