Purpose of the Job

As a Despatch Controller, you will be responsible for inspecting transport vehicles to ensure compliance with safety standards, weighing and dispatching vehicles, and managing the booking of loading slots.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct visual inspections of vehicles, drivers, and documents.
• Issue inspection certificates and report any defects found.
• Reject vehicles that do not meet safety standards.
• Communicate with drivers regarding necessary procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the area and buildings.
• Keep accurate records of driver and vehicle information.
• Issue dispatch documents and monitor vehicle movements.

Minimum Requirements

Formal Education:

• High School Diploma or similar qualification with Math & Science.

Experience:

• Less than 1 year of relevant experience.
