Position Details

• Position: Delivery Driver
• Location: Johannesburg

Key Responsibilities

• Load stock accurately as per the invoice or picking list.
• Deliver stock to customers according to the invoice.
• Collect buybacks and returns based on claim and uplift documents.
• Accurately capture buybacks, returns, and damaged stock on the Handheld Computer (HHC) and return them to the Debriefer.
• Perform routine maintenance and checks on the delivery vehicle as per company policies.
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean and tidy inside and out.
• Ensure all Proof of Delivery (POD) documents are clear and comply with company procedures.
• Manage and supervise the delivery assistant.
• Follow health, safety, and security regulations, including PPE compliance.
• Adhere to road traffic rules and regulations.
• Follow pre-planned routes and schedules.

Qualifications and Experience

To qualify for this role, you must have:

• Education: Matric (Grade 12).
• License: Code 14 (EC: Horse & Trailer).
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a delivery driver.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of using a Handheld Computer (HHC).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with customers.
• Adaptability and flexibility to handle changes in the workplace.
• A results-driven attitude and the ability to work under pressure.
