Programme Purpose

Are you unemployed and living in the Centurion area? This Workplace Readiness Programme is designed to help you unlock your potential and gain practical, on-the-job experience.

The 6-month programme focuses on preparing young talent for the workplace by providing hands-on experience, training, and development. While successful completion of the programme does not guarantee full-time employment, it equips participants with the skills and knowledge to enhance their career prospects in the medical aid administration and insurance industry.

Key Role Responsibilities

As a Customer Services Agent, you will:

Internal Processes

  • Engage with clients and intermediaries in a professional manner to resolve queries within agreed service levels.
  • Take ownership of client complaints and ensure timely and effective resolution.
  • Provide clients with accurate information and documentation as needed.
  • Update client information accurately in the relevant systems.
  • Complete all administrative and reporting tasks within agreed timeframes.
  • Comply with all legislative and compliance requirements during the service process.
  • Identify and report system or process failures to improve client experience.

Client Interaction

  • Investigate and resolve client queries promptly.
  • Escalate complex queries to the appropriate departments or stakeholders.
  • Provide accurate advice to clients to ensure appropriate after-sales service.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Deliver reports on service delivery against targets and service agreements.

Teamwork and Personal Development

  • Build productive relationships with peers and stakeholders.
  • Embrace and contribute to change initiatives.
  • Continuously improve knowledge of the industry, legislation, and professional standards.
  • Take ownership of personal career development.

Financial Responsibilities

  • Contribute to financial planning and cost-effective practices.
  • Provide input into risk identification and communicate recommendations effectively.

Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Matric (Grade 12) Certificate.
  • Passed Mathematics (minimum 40%) or Mathematical Literacy (minimum 60%).
  • Passed English and another South African language (minimum 50%).
  • Computer literacy is advantageous.
  • Reside within a 20 km radius of the Momentum Meersig offices in Centurion, Gauteng.
  • Unemployed and available to commit to the 6-month programme.
