Role Purpose

The Process Controller will oversee and manage maintenance and repair activities for a specific production process. Responsibilities include operating control panels, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring smooth production flow.

Key Responsibilities

Operations and Maintenance

• Monitor and control production processes.
• Identify and troubleshoot faults within the system.
• Maintain accurate records of work progress and report to supervisors.
• Conduct inspections to improve plant sustainability.
• Follow safety and environmental procedures, including proper waste disposal.

Safety and Compliance

• Participate in risk assessments as per company policies and regulations.
• Ensure proper safety measures are followed in all tasks.
• Contribute to safety toolbox talks to improve workplace awareness.

Teamwork and Communication

• Provide feedback to supervisors and team members on operational progress.
• Participate in shift handovers for smooth workflow transitions.
• Support training efforts by coaching learners and presenting on specific plant equipment.

Minimum Requirements

Education

• Matric/N3 with Mathematics, English, and Physical Science.
• CHIETA NQF Level 2 Qualification.

Experience

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.

Additional Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License.
