Minimum Requirements:

To apply for the position, you need to meet the following criteria:

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• 1-2 years’ experience in a technical field related to the role.
• Physical stamina to perform the duties of a semi-skilled worker.

Skills and Competencies:

• Ability to work with power and hand tools safely.
• Knowledge of cabling construction practices and safe work procedures.
• Physical and mental capacity to work at heights.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work overtime if required.
• Skills in conflict resolution and interpersonal communication.
• Good understanding of OHSA and safety regulations.
• Ability to compile a HIRA (Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment).

Knowledge and Attributes:

• Basic understanding of safety rules and regulations in the workplace.
• Ability to identify and use the necessary tools and equipment.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Self-discipline and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
