SPAR YES4Youth Work Experience Learnership Program for Unemployed Youth

SPAR, in partnership with Catalyx, is offering a 12-month work experience learnership program for unemployed youth. This opportunity provides practical experience to help young individuals develop their careers.

Who Can Apply?

To qualify, you must meet the following requirements:

• Age: 18 – 28 years old.
• Citizenship: South African citizen.
• Education: Completed and passed Matric (Grade 12).
• Employment Status: Currently unemployed and not enrolled in full-time studies.
• Criminal Record: Must have a clear criminal record.
• Commitment: Able to commit to the full 12-month program starting 01 April 2025.

Additional Qualifications (Advantageous but Not Required)

• University degree qualification.
• FET Technical Trade qualification.

Program Details

• Shortlisted applicants will be invited to:
  • Attend JumpStart training.
  • Gain one week of work experience.
  • Participate in an interview.
• Important:
  • No fees will be charged by Catalyx, SPAR, Build It, or YES for this program.
  • Personal data security is strictly maintained according to the POPI Act of South Africa.
