Job Purpose
As an Offer Management Consultant, your role is to quality-assure, consult, and communicate settlement offers. You will also handle payment requests for accepted offers.
Key Responsibilities
Offer Management
- Quality-check the type of offer made.
- Identify and address defects in consultation with the offer originator.
- Provide recommendations on settlement offers.
- Communicate approved offers.
- Request payments for accepted offers.
Exception Handling
- Assess rejected offers and make necessary adjustments.
- Communicate revised offers.
- Suspend claims until disputes are resolved.
Quality Assurance
- Implement and maintain legal costing processes.
- Ensure compliance with unusual occurrence procedures.
Administrative Support
- Document and upload offers to the system.
- Provide general administrative support.
- Manage correspondence and produce reports.
- Assist with typing and editing briefs, technical papers, letters, and memos.
Reporting
- Track and report progress against objectives.
- Report emerging risks.
- Provide ad hoc reports on process improvements.
Stakeholder Management
- Maintain healthy relationships with stakeholders.
- Provide timely feedback to stakeholders on queries.
- Respond to queries within the specified turnaround time.
Qualifications and Experience
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree/Advanced Diploma in Health Sciences or a Law-related field.
Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in an insurance-related environment.
