Job Purpose:
This is a 12-month Learnership program, providing unemployed youth, particularly African females with disabilities, an opportunity to gain experience and a qualification in the Freight and Logistics industry.
The program is QCTO-registered and will be conducted through a combination of theoretical and practical components in three divisions. The positions are available across Bidvest offices located in the Eastern Cape, Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, and Western Cape.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
- South African citizen.
- Age between 18 and 35 years old.
- Commitment to work full-time for 12 months.
- Interest in the Transport and Logistics industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- 12-month Learnership involving both theory and practical experience.
- Complete modules on BIL’s eLearning Platform.
- Submit a portfolio of evidence upon completion of the program.
Skills & Competencies:
- Self-reliant and determined.
- Accountable for managing self, stipend, and studies.
- Professional behavior, appearance, and communication within the BIL environment.
- Basic computer literacy.
