Learner’s License Training Opportunities for Unemployed Youth at Mossel Bay Municipality | Apply with Grade 10

The Mossel Bay Municipality is offering an exciting chance for approximately 80 unemployed youth residing in the greater Mossel Bay area to obtain their learner’s licenses. This initiative is targeted at empowering young individuals by equipping them with essential driving skills to enhance their employability.

Areas Covered

The program covers the entire Mossel Bay area, including:

• Great Brak River, Klein Brak River, Toekoms, Jonkersberg, Friemersheim, Powertown, Sonskynvallei, Brandwag
• Rietviei & Bartelsfontein, Ruiterbos, Herbertsdale, Buisplaas, Vieesbaai, Kleinberg, and Boggomsbaai

The program will run for five months and includes a Life Skills Program before the learner’s license training begins.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for this opportunity, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Unemployment: Must be unemployed and not enrolled in any training, learnership, or employment.
• Age: Must be between 18 and 35 years old.
• Education: Must have passed at least Grade 10.
• Residency: Must reside within the Mossel Bay Municipal area.
• Availability: Must be able to attend classes daily from 10:00 to 18:00.

Note: No catering will be provided during the program.
