Job Purpose:
As an Administrative Officer, your role will involve supporting the Team Leader: Training Norms and Standards and the entire unit by managing administrative tasks. You will ensure all necessary information is up to date and assist in maintaining a smooth administrative workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle Correspondence: Manage, scrutinize, and redirect all incoming mail and emails, making proactive decisions.
- Report Compilation: Gather data and compile reports based on instructions from the General Manager.
- Administration Management: Maintain records and handle administrative duties for the Training Norms and Standards Support Unit.
- Coordinate Meetings and Events: Organize and arrange staff meetings, functions, and travel requirements.
- Foster Relationships: Build and maintain positive relationships with service providers and stakeholders.
- Stay Updated: Continuously monitor market trends and integrate relevant insights into your work.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Essential: Matric (NQF Level 4).
- Preferred: A minimum of NQF Level 6 Diploma (SAQA recognized).
- Experience: 1–2 years of administrative experience.
Key Competencies:
- Administrative Knowledge: Understanding of administrative processes, systems, and filing.
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency in basic computer applications.
- Business Acumen: Knowledge of the workings of your specific area within the organization.
