Permanent Vacancies at the Border Management Authority (BMA)

The Border Management Authority (BMA) is looking for qualified candidates to apply for several permanent positions. The closing date for applications is 7th March 2025.

Available Positions:

• Executive Manager: Administration
• Senior Manager: Vetting and Ethics
• Senior Manager: Employee Relations, Health, and Wellness

Application Requirements:

• Complete the BMA Employment Application Form, which can be downloaded from the official website.
• Attach a comprehensive CV, including the start and end dates of each employment period (dd/mm/yr) and the details of at least two contactable employment references (as recent as possible).
• Submit your application to the correct email address; applications sent to the wrong address will not be considered.
• Do not include copies of educational qualifications, ID, or driver’s license with the application. These documents will only be required from shortlisted candidates before the interview.
• If you are shortlisted, you will need to submit certified copies of qualifications, ID document, and driver’s license before the interview.
• If you have foreign qualifications, it is your responsibility to have them evaluated by the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA) and provide proof of the evaluation report.

Selection Process:

• Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed and may be required to complete technical assessments to demonstrate their professional and technical competency.
• Senior candidates will undergo competency assessments to evaluate their proficiency in the relevant professional dimensions.
• Employment suitability checks, including credit, criminal, citizenship, employment references, and qualification verifications, will be conducted.
• Vetting/security clearance appropriate to the level of the position is mandatory.
• Only South African citizens are eligible to apply.
