The South African Nuclear Energy Corporation (NECSA) offers Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) opportunities for unemployed youth across seven provinces. This program is designed to help students gain practical experience and develop their skills in various fields. The closing date for applications is 28th February 2025.

About the Programme:

NECSA, through its Necsa Learning Academy, is providing a 24-month WIL programme for students who have completed their N6 qualifications at TVET Colleges. This opportunity will enable successful candidates to gain valuable hands-on experience, essential for their graduation.


Available Fields of Study:

  • Electrical
  • Instrumentation
  • Fitter and Turner
  • Mechanical Fitter
  • Boilermaker
  • Welder
  • Plumber
  • Civil Engineering

Requirements:

  • Unemployed South African citizens aged between 18 to 35
  • Completed N6 qualification from a TVET College
  • Applicants must provide a letter from their institution confirming they need practical experience to graduate
  • Applicants must not have previously participated in any Necsa graduate programme
