Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for this internship, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Educational Qualifications:
    • A completed 3-year tertiary qualification such as:
      • National Diploma in Communications Networks
      • National Diploma in Computer Systems Engineering
      • BSc in Information Systems
      • National Diploma in IT
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Must be under 35 years of age as of 1 July 2024
    • Must be a South African Citizen
    • Must reside in Gauteng
    • Clear credit (ITC) and no criminal record
    • Unemployed at the time of application
    • Not currently enrolled in another learnership or internship

Key Responsibilities

As an IT Support Intern, you will:

  • Support Implementation: Assist in configuring, customizing, and deploying e-Med modules.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Help conduct tests, analyze results, and resolve issues to ensure system stability.
  • User Training & Support: Provide training on e-Med functionalities and support users with system-related queries during the rollout.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Create reports on project progress, issues, and resolutions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the team lead and subject matter experts to ensure end-user buy-in for the e-Med solution.
