Job Purpose
As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for ordering, stocking, and displaying products while assisting customers with inquiries and purchases.
Key Responsibilities
- Stock Counting & Ordering: Ensure accurate stock levels and place orders as needed.
- Replenishing Stock: Restock shelves according to the approved layout.
- Product Handling: Reduce stock damage both on the sales floor and in the receiving area.
- Display Maintenance: Set up and maintain in-store product displays as per supervisor instructions.
- Stock Room Management: Keep stock storage organized, avoiding loose stock or open cases.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric / NQF Level 4 equivalent.
- At least 2 years of retail experience.
- Knowledge of merchandising and product placement (advantageous).
- Customer service skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Understanding of hygiene and housekeeping standards.
