The Innovation Hub Management Company SOC (Ltd) and ERGO (Pty) Ltd are offering a Data Innovation Training Programme for unemployed youth. This programme provides technical and soft skills training in data annotation. Applications close on 13 February 2025.
Programme Overview
This training is designed to equip participants with skills in data labelling for images and text. The programme also includes mentorship, coaching, and soft skills training to improve employability.

Who Can Apply?
To qualify, you must meet these requirements:
- Education: A 3 to 4-year university qualification (minimum NQF Level 6).
- Age: Between 18 and 34 years old.
- Citizenship: South African citizen.
- Internship Status: No prior internship experience.
- Priority Communities: Preference will be given to applicants from Ekurhuleni Southern and Eastern Areas and City of Johannesburg Regions B, C, and D.
- Field of Study: Must have studied Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science.
Training Location
The programme will take place at the Tsakane Kasi Lab, and all costs will be fully covered under ERGO’s Social and Labour Plan LED Programme.
