Internship Details
- Position: Municipal Finance Management Intern
- Number of Posts: 8
- Stipend: R100,000 per year
- Duration: 24 months
Minimum Requirements
- A National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree with majors in Accounting, Economics, or Finance Management.
- Must be between 21 and 35 years old.
- Must be willing to sign an internship agreement and employment contract.
- Must commit to full participation in both educational and workplace assignments.
Responsibilities
As an intern, your duties will include:
- Budget preparation and management.
- Revenue and debt collection.
- Bank reconciliation and cash flow management.
- Processing payments for goods and services.
- Asset barcoding and verification.
- Coordinating acquisition processes and procedures.
- Compiling monthly financial reports.
