Job Purpose
The Customer Service Representative will assist customers with orders, requests, and complaints. This role involves processing customer orders, resolving inquiries, and ensuring a smooth customer experience. The successful candidate will also help improve operational efficiency in the Customer Contact Centre.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Support
- Respond to customer inquiries and requests.
- Process orders accurately and within deadlines.
- Verify order details and send confirmation to customers.
- Provide tracking updates and resolve order-related issues.
- Address customer complaints and escalate when necessary.
Order Management
- Ensure that orders comply with pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Maintain and update the orderbank for proper tracking.
- Process returns and assist with refund requests.
Coordination and Reporting
- Work with internal teams (manufacturing, accounting, HR, shipping, and procurement) to resolve issues.
- Track customer service performance and suggest improvements.
- Prepare reports and presentations when required.
Compliance and Safety
- Follow Sasol’s policies and risk management procedures.
- Apply safety practices in line with company standards.
- Ensure compliance with customer service protocols.
Minimum Requirements
Education
- Matric / High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience
- At least 6 years of relevant experience in customer service or order management.
