X120 City of Tshwane Apprenticeship Positions

The City of Tshwane is inviting unemployed individuals to apply for 120 Apprenticeship Positions within its Learning and Development Division. Applications close on 10 February 2025.

Available Apprenticeships

The program offers full apprenticeship training in the following trades:

• Electrical: 30 positions (Reference: TLMA-E-2025)
• Welding: 15 positions (Reference: TLMA-W-2025)
• Vehicle Mechanics: 30 positions (Reference: TLMA–V-2025)
• Boilermaking: 15 positions (Reference: TLMA-B-2025)
• Plumbing: 15 positions (Reference: TLMA-P-2025)
• Fitting and Turning: 15 positions (Reference: TLMA-F-2025)

Note: Submit a separate application for each apprenticeship using the appropriate reference number.

Stipend

• R2,792.44 per month

Requirements

To qualify, you must:

• Have a technical matric, NCV Level 4, or N2 certificate with Mathematics, Science, and relevant trade theory.
• Be interested in becoming an artisan and demonstrate commitment to the program.
• Meet reasonable accommodation requirements if you have a disability.
• Preference will be given to women and previously disadvantaged individuals.

Not Eligible

• Candidates who already hold a trade certificate in any of the listed trades.
• Applicants with fraudulent information or documents will be disqualified.
