Minimum Requirements

• NQF Level 1 or 2 (Abet Level 2 Certificate or equivalent).
• Communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic knowledge of road maintenance and construction.
• Flexibility and ability to work under supervision.

Key Responsibilities

As a Road Worker, your duties will include:

• Constructing culverts, side drains, and layer works.
• Erecting and maintaining steel guardrails and road signs.
• Cleaning roads, sidewalks, and rest areas.
• Performing bush clearing and grass cutting.
• Surfacing and patching potholes.
• Laying pipes and constructing fences.
• Marking roads and installing studs.
