Minimum Requirements
- NQF Level 1 or 2 (Abet Level 2 Certificate or equivalent).
- Communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic knowledge of road maintenance and construction.
- Flexibility and ability to work under supervision.
Key Responsibilities
As a Road Worker, your duties will include:
- Constructing culverts, side drains, and layer works.
- Erecting and maintaining steel guardrails and road signs.
- Cleaning roads, sidewalks, and rest areas.
- Performing bush clearing and grass cutting.
- Surfacing and patching potholes.
- Laying pipes and constructing fences.
- Marking roads and installing studs.
