Minimum Requirements

To be eligible for this learnership, you must meet the following criteria:

• Employment Status:
  • You must not be employed.
  • You must not be enrolled in any qualification or learnership program.
• Education:
  • Matric (Grade 12) with Mathematics and Physical Science (minimum Level 3 for all subjects).
  • Applicants with completed post-matric qualifications will not be considered.
• Verification:
  • Submit a SAQA/NLRD verification report (available on the SAQA website).
• Citizenship:
  • South African citizens only.
  • Valid South African ID required.
• Age:
  • Between 18 and 35 years old.

Duties and Responsibilities

As part of the program, you will:

• Assist with operating and maintaining water and wastewater treatment plants.

• Participate in water sampling and analysis.
• Assist in maintaining equipment and instruments.
• Attend classes and complete assignments, projects, and practical logbooks.
