Minimum Requirements
To be eligible for this learnership, you must meet the following criteria:
- Employment Status:
- You must not be employed.
- You must not be enrolled in any qualification or learnership program.
- Education:
- Matric (Grade 12) with Mathematics and Physical Science (minimum Level 3 for all subjects).
- Applicants with completed post-matric qualifications will not be considered.
- Verification:
- Submit a SAQA/NLRD verification report (available on the SAQA website).
- Citizenship:
- South African citizens only.
- Valid South African ID required.
- Age:
- Between 18 and 35 years old.

Duties and Responsibilities
As part of the program, you will:
- Assist with operating and maintaining water and wastewater treatment plants.
- Monitor water and wastewater quality.
- Conduct basic laboratory tests.
- Participate in water sampling and analysis.
- Assist in maintaining equipment and instruments.
- Attend classes and complete assignments, projects, and practical logbooks.
