Job Description
As a Line Warehouse Controller, you will manage and track the movement of spare parts and ensure efficient warehouse operations. Responsibilities include:
- Managing spare part movements between bases and stations.
- Updating the stock management system (ERP) to maintain accurate records.
- Sorting and organizing parts immediately upon receipt.
- Conducting weekly and random stock counts to ensure accuracy.
- Creating documentation for shipping and packaging spare parts.
- Managing tools, equipment, and shelf-life items for consumables and rotables.
- Loading spare part requisitions into the system.
- Performing daily housekeeping and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
- Controlling warehouse access and assisting with loading/offloading aircraft spares.
- Addressing spare part requests via the requisition system, email, or phone.
- Ensuring proper handling of unserviceable spares to minimize turnaround times.
Job Requirements
To be eligible, you must meet the following criteria:
Qualifications and Experience
- Grade 12 or equivalent (essential).
- Forklift license (advantageous).
- 2–3 years of warehouse experience (essential).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Knowledge of stock management and FIFO (First In, First Out) principles.
Additional Skills and Knowledge
- Understanding of tools and operations.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety (OHS) standards.
- Familiarity with Dangerous Goods regulations.
- Knowledge of AMO (Approved Maintenance Organization) standards.
Licensing and Availability
- Valid EB driver’s license.
- Ability to drive with a long trailer.
- Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and travel when needed.
- Valid passport.
- Access to reliable transport.
