Eligibility Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification.
  • Fluent in Business English.

Responsibilities

Stock Management

  • Maintain control and order stock in-store and backup areas.
  • Minimize returns and document them according to store procedures.
  • Avoid stock shortages and report issues to the Area Manager (AM).

Shelf and Display Management

  • Ensure shelves are packed and organized according to store flow and merchandising rules.
  • Maintain clean and presentable products on shelves at all times.
  • Properly maintain store equipment, including fridges and crates.
  • Apply accurate shelf control using store plans and plannograms.
  • Install and maintain point-of-sale materials as directed.

Customer and Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain professional relationships with store management, Area Managers (AM), head office, customers, and other merchandisers.
  • Maximize opportunities to enhance product visibility and presence on shelves.

Administrative Duties

  • Complete all required administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Ensure proper documentation and reporting as per company standards.
