Position Details

Job Title: Food Service Aid (x23)

• Unit: Special Schools
• Salary Range: R131,265 – R154,626 per annum (Level 02)

Eligibility Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• NQF Level 1 to 4 qualification.
• Experience or exposure in refreshment preparation, etiquette, hygiene, and serving.

Key Skills and Attributes

• Basic literacy and good communication skills.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility and the ability to work well in a team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Refreshment Services

• Serve refreshments to official visitors and cater for meetings in a professional manner.
• Secure and manage refreshment stock for meetings.
• Notify the supervisor when replenishment of refreshment items and cleaning materials is required.

2. Boardroom Maintenance

• Keep boardroom cutlery tidy and report the need for new items.
• Ensure regular serving of water in boardrooms.
• Manage the booking system for boardrooms.

3. Logistical Support

• Assist with logistical arrangements for meetings.
• Support document reproduction and facsimile services as needed.
