• Salary Range: R149,028.00 – R163,260.00 per annum (Level 13 of a Grade 04 Local Authority)
• Total Benefits Package: R277,497.44 per annum (inclusive of all benefits)

Eligibility Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Grade 10 (Grade 12 is an added advantage).

Additional Skills and Attributes

• Valid driver’s license (an added advantage).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (must be bilingual).
• Ability to follow and execute instructions effectively.
• Physically fit with basic skills and knowledge for manual labor.
• A self-disciplined and hard-working individual.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in general work related to the Electrical Section, preferably within a Local Government Authority.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Duties

• Load and unload materials and equipment safely, using protective gear and tools.
• Set up traffic signs to warn motorists about ongoing work near municipal roads.
• Clean work areas using tools such as brooms and manual labor equipment to maintain cleanliness.
• Perform general labor-related tasks as instructed by the supervisor or superintendent.
• Ensure compliance with all instructions to support productivity and the smooth functioning of the department.

Additional Tasks

• Execute any ad hoc duties or responsibilities assigned by the supervisor or management as needed.
